Conmen pose as police, rob people

While me and my husband were returning home a few days back, we saw a hoarding put up by the police near Koparkhairane railway station. We paused for a while to read and were impressed to see how the Navi Mumbai / Koparkhairane police is taking steps to prevent people from robbers. After all, the hoarding had detailed message for the pedestrians on being alert and advised people against wearing too much gold jewelry. We could not stop praising the police. But today's news about conmen looting people using police hoardings was rather shocking.

Robbers posed as police officers and convinced some women to hand over their cash and jewelry to be later collected from the police station! It was shocking to see how a good step by the police was used by the robbers to con people.

Well, I hope the police is able to nab the culprits soon while we should be careful while trusting strangers.
