Construction noise even after midnight!

New buildings are sprouting in Navi Mumbai and the result is non-stop construction noise. I understand we must bear with it for the development of the satellite city. But as much as I have heard of, construction noise is permitted until 7 pm or so.

But here in Koparkhairane, I think noise after midnight is 'granted'. We have 2 plots near our building.Though the building construction noise of one building stops after evening, a latest development has happened in another plot. Some huge dumping of mud (or whatever the term is, I would not know) is taking place and there are these two trucks and this leveling machine that make noise throughout the day and even after 12 am in the night!

Don't you think noise until this late in the night is very unfair. Yesterday it went on till 12.30 am! Imagine the state of those who are unwell, the infants and the elderly people! Not to say we end up cleaning the house the entire day with the dust entering the house (but then, that's given with construction). But such noises until late night are simply irritating. What do you think we can do about it?
