The best part I loved about shifting to Navi Mumbai was absence of traffic jams. But ever since the road construction work has begun between Vashi (from Blue Diamond hotel junction) to Koparkhairane (a little before D mart), this road has very slow moving traffic. Worst, especially on weekends, there's heavy traffic jam at Palm Beach road in the evenings between Vashi-Koparkhairane. Hope things get better soon!
Read more...I paid my third visit to the Sahara Arts and Crafts Exhibition in Vashi (Navi Mumbai) today and I'm certain I'll go there again! The exhibition is held on a huge open ground and has everything from home decor, toys and little magic tricks' kits to cool accessories, smart kitchen appliances and pickles!
While me and my husband were returning home a few days back, we saw a hoarding put up by the police near Koparkhairane railway station. We paused for a while to read and were impressed to see how the Navi Mumbai / Koparkhairane police is taking steps to prevent people from robbers. After all, the hoarding had detailed message for the pedestrians on being alert and advised people against wearing too much gold jewelry. We could not stop praising the police. But today's news about conmen looting people using police hoardings was rather shocking.
